From Secretary - In reply to the foregoing letter states that the Courts despatch of the 3rd February 1841 cannot be traced and with reference to the Instruction from the Authority of the 29th July 1840 forwards copy of a letter to the Court of Directors contaning all the information that can be afforded respecting the Honble M. Crawfords absence.
