Lieut.Governor - Forwards copy of a letter from the Resident of Singapore with the statement of Imports & Exports for May which accompanied it together with Reports of arrivals & departures for April , May & June last . Proposed to frame a report of the Trade at Singapore since its establishment. requests permission to submit to the Board of Trade or to the Court of Directors an Indent of the articles of Merchandize which may be imported at that Port, as well as Exported - Is of opinion that Importations from Europe to the extent of 50000 pound may be immediately made on the Companys account with advantage.
