L.S. - In reply - Captain Ellis not having with drawn the letter pronounced by Government to be offensive neither offered a single word of apology to Mr. Larkins - Government has resolved to suspend him from his offices until further orders, and has nominated Lieut. I.H.Johnston R. N. to perform that duty temporarily on an allowance of 1000 Rs. Per Month.
