From Naval Board - States that in the List of Naval Officers to whom Batta is allowed the Secretary to the Commander in Chief is not mentioned & that he has represented the circumstance to the Govrnment of Fort St. George & recommended that he may be allowed the Batta of a Commander of a Sloop War - Solicits the approbation of this Government to the Measure.
