L. S. - In reply - Fixing the Salary of the Post Master General at Sum of Rs. 40000 Per Annum and a Commission at the rate of 5 Percent on the Annual net Collections not execeding 1 Lac of Rupees and 10 Percent on the net Collections in excess of one Lac. With advertence to the late period of the Cunaut Office Year. a calculation to be made of what would have been the amount receivable by the Post Master General under the principle adopted for 1825/26 and preceding years. Mr. Shakespear to receive the moiety due to him for the past six Months Vig from 1st. May to 31 October last.
