Superintendent Min; Survey - Forwards abstract of his Proceedings for the 4th Quarter of 1827 and reprots having proceeded though the S. W. Quarter of the Province to a part of the Survey hitherto unexplored by which a Clank is supplied in the Geographical descript as it aappeared in his reprot states particulars which he considers justifies the expectation that Gold may yet be found within oun Provinces, but that the true Mineral Treasure of thosed Mountains are the Copper Lead and Iron Mines. Signifies his intertion to detach Captain Masnson inrmediately fo the examination of the S. E. Corner of the Province and of taking the field himself in March when the highest Mountains will be accessible.
