To Governor - In continuation of letter of 17th Ultimo. Conveys the approval of this Government to the appointment of Mr. Nairne to the Office of Supertinedent of Government Suits for the recovery of the Arrears of Revenue through the Courts of Justice at Prince of Wales Island under instructions from the Resident Councillor, Mr. Nairne will be allowed to draw as remuneration for the trouble of conducting the process 5 per cent upon all sums that may be recovered by his exertioins.
