In continuation of No.1329, dated the 1st April last, forwards, for submission to the Govt. of India, copy of a letter from the Commr. of Chota Nagpore, offering certain remarks on those paragraphs of the Famine Commissioner`s Report which reflect on the action of the local authorities in his Division in connexion with the famine.
