To Reverent D. Ewart & Messes Stubbins & Sutten - With reference to their respective letters dated 12th August 1852 & 5th December 1853 explains under what circumstances the money grant to the Temple of Juggernath was made & communicates the purpose of the orders which have been issued to the Bengal Government to assign over land yielding equivalent Revenue minus cost of maintaining an adequate Police force at the Temple, to the Rajah of Khoordah Superintendent of the Temple.
