From - Forwards extract para 68 from Couts Despatch no. 71 of 1856 dated 13th August questioning the advisahleness of this Government recognizing in any case a Power of attorney ececuted in England which does not bear an English stamp according to the provisions of the Stamp act. Requests that no Power of attorney executed in England he recognized as valid that does not bear an English Stamp.
