From Naval Commander in Chief - Acknowleges receipt of Secretary Prinseps letter dated 8th December last recommending him to apply to the Court of Directors that officers of His Majestys Navy may be paid the rupee at the current Market price instead of at 2st/3rd the rupee, requests that a copy of his letter of 30th October last and the opinion of Council may be sent to the Court of Directors to meet his reference on the subject.
