From Resident Singapore - Transmits Statements of the sums to be drawn as Pensions and of the amount disbursed on account of gratuity to the uncovenanted Servants of the late Government. Notices the salary allowed to Mr. Reid including Pension since the dissolution of Government and requests that he may be placed on the same scale of allowance with Mr. Burrows. Submits also a List of 2 Seamer & a corrected List of the fixed establishment of the Settlements as they now stand. Acknowledges receipt of Letter of 31st May last transmitting statement of Situations for Clerks under the lately revised establishments and List of Persons to fill them among those who have lately been granted Pensions.
