From Board - Submit for orders a tender from Mr. Joakim the Head Clerk in the Master Attendants Office for the privilege of clearing the River of Wrecks & Anchors, with their opinion that no Individual connected with the Bankshall ought to have the privilege. Suggest the expediency of permitting the clearing of the River to remain a constituted part of the duty of the Master Attendants, and that no establishment beyond two Anchor Vessels with Men in each at the monthly expense of 57 Rs. be retained contingent charges being allowed for extra hands when absolutely necessary. Propose a System which will present the accumulation of, and enable parties to identify, recovered property. Request authority to purchase the Anchor Boats from Lady Hayes.
