Chief Secretary - With reference to letter from that Government of the 22nd August last 9th May previous draws attention to the recommendation of that Government for the appointment either of an Officer of the Sind Prrgulur House as assistant to the Political Superintendant of the Faoretion Distant of the Province with the powers of a Deputy Collector on a Salary of Rs. 250 or of a Deputy Collection to the Cahrge of the Distant as farmerly States that the authority of the Court of Directors for the appointment of an assistant Poll. Superintendant on the Frontion is combrined with other arrangements for the Civil administration of Sind which at will not be possible to carry out without - considerable delay perlaps grent Modification.
