Secretary - Under the4 circumstances stated requsts information as to whether there are in the Territories directly under the administration of the Government of Indial precedents for the intorduction into a Non regulation province of a scheme of Municipal Taxation such as that instanced for the lower & hanlets forming the Mehar Division of the Shikarpore Col. also an expression of view as to the expediency when applying to non regulation Provinces schems of Municipal taxation of permitting to the extant mentioned a Modification of the provinces of act XXVI of 1850.
