Read a Despatch from the Honble Court of Directors No. 13 of 1856 dated 20th February transmitting for consideration and report a suggestion of H. M. Post Master General that with reference to the present redered rate of postage between England and India a reduction should be made in the rate of Ship Postage chargeable by the Post Office of India on letters and Newspapers between the Nmted Kingdon and Countries beyond India.
