Resolution - Informs Mr. Mergher in reply to the foregoing that the Government sees no ground for granting him compensation for the losses alleged to have been sustained by him in consequence of the Cancelment of his contract for the conveyance of the mail between Bangalore and Bellary or for authorizing the grant to him of a fresh contract.
