From - Forwards copy of a letter addressed to the Government of Madras conveying as a general rule to the allowance of a free passage and table money to all officers who may proceed on Medical Certificate from Service beyond Sea or who may be returning to join their Corps at a Station beyond sea on the completion of any leave on Medical Certificate the decision being applicable to the three Presidies. Intimates that the necessary commander on the subject has been made to the Quarter Mr. General of the army to the Officiating Superintendant of Marine and to the Government of Bombay.
