Extract Public Works Department - Forwards a letter dated 17th Ultimo from the Superintendent of Hill Roads in reply to the shoerrns & proposals of the Director General P. Q regarding the institution of a Bullock Train on the Hindostan & # Road between simlah & the Plains as also copy of the reply sent to the Superintendent to the effect that the Governor General in Council is of opinion that it would be non condacive to the interests of the Public & in all respects more desirable that the Bullock Train between simlale & muballah should be exclusively under the charge of the superintendent of the Read . Requests that # in conformity with these views may be issued to the officiating Director General P. Q.
