Secretary - In reply to letter of the 18th Instant require as whether that Government can obtain Annual returns of the traffic passing along the frequented line of Road in Bengal. Stetes that the Sir Mr. Governor will make enquiries on the subject and will report. The result to this Government and for reasons assigned enquires whether it is wished that the returns obtained include the Boat traffic on all the large Rovers # on the Rivers and Canals where # an levied or on water Traffic # all.
