To Secretary - In continuation of letter dated 23rd March last transmits for information Extract ( Para 3 & 4 ) from the Honble Courts of Despatch No. 22 of 1855 suggesting Photography as a means by which representations of seenes & buildings may be obtained with accurney and with economy of time & money.

The National Archives of India is on a mission to digitize and make available online each and every record in its repositories. This is an ongoing effort and some records will be made available before the others.
