Read a Dispatch from the Honble Court of Directors No. 72 of 1854 dated 4th October Promising to read in 13 Copies of Mr. Augasties Patermand Work relating to his expedition into Central Africa. One Copy of which is to be sent to Agra and one to the Straits. Remarking also that the work should be made known to the Mercantile Cammunity of Calcutta as Calculated to shew the openness afforded for Commercial intereourse with Central Africa.
