Minute - With reference to further aid Solicited by the Committee of Steam Navigation between Engaland and India Via the Cape, states that he does not feel justified in Expending any more money on the undertaking as Government benefitted by it Except in the quick transmission of Intelligence from and to the Home Authorities of the Routes by Cape or Read Sea gives preference to the latter - Should a Commissioner be Establish under the auspious of the Company recommends Mr. Waghorn as eminently qualified for the Command of a Vessel.
