Read a Despatch No. 45 of 1858 dated the 22 December, from the Right Honble the Secretary of State for India, requesting with reference to the despatches of the Honble the Court of Directors No. 29 & 42 of 1858, an early report on the result of the enquiries instituted relative to the sale of Arms ot powers hostile to Great Britain.
