From the Lieut. governor - Annexes copy of a letter addressed to the Secretary Bengal Civil Annuity Fund requesting that his name be registered for one of the additional Annuities allowed for the Bengal Civil Service & in the event of one of the annuities being awarded to him from the 1st May next as therein desired requests that he be allowed to resign the service from that date.
