From Secretary - Forwards copy Telegram from the Commissioner Patna reporting that Begum Huzrut Mahal has written to Jung Bahadoor that such of her troops as have already passed to the Eastward of the Gunduak will leave his country via Bettiah. This is an idle threat as many have already recorossed the river - The rebels have rejected Jung Bahadoors proposal & refuse to lay down their arms.
