To Secretary - Forwards extract Paras 18 - 19 from Courts Despatch No. 83 of 1857 of 3rd June suggesting an enquiry as to the cause of the very large dismissals of Uncovnated servants in Soinse as shown in the return furnished by the Bombay Government for the first half years 1853 & requesting explanation why no legal proceedings were taken against the copyist in the Policical Department of the Bombay secretariat who was dismissed on the ground to having abtained a bond for Rs. 7000 from a petition on pretence of influencing the decision of Government in a case before it.
