Judgment of the Nagpur High Court ordering the release of one L.M. Wakhare on the ground that the Detention order under which he was held had not been served on him. Amendment of D.I.R.119 to make it clear that failure to comply with the provisions of sub-rule (i) of that rule in respect of an order under those rules shall not preclude proof by other means that the person concerned was informed of the order or affect validity of the order. Decision that the method of giving publicity to an order under the D.I Rules should be recorded in the order itself.
