In reply to no. 434 of 13th aug. 1855 states taht the G.G. approve of the ast. of Captain and Bt. Major Whish of the 60 REgt. N.I. to be a brigader Major on the estt. in succesino to Bt. Major Siddons 1st cavy. resigned.
