With reference to mily dept. lr. no. 1151 of 30th Dec. 1853 transmits copy of one from the mily audr. Genl. at bombay and requsts that that govt. may be informed whether the pay of th Regtt. savings bank clerks is to be admited as a public charge or should be paid from the contenfund observations.
