In reply to mily dept. Docket no. 294 of 1st inst. states that on reconsideration of the retrencht. aganst Captn. G. W. presndergast 44th N.I. of his Regt. allowce he is of opinion under the circumstances setforth that the retrucht. ought to be remitted and has accordingly issued a reandit in favor of that officer.
