With reference to Military Deptt. letter no. 162, of the 28th August 1851, forwards copy of a letter from captain A.Wrench, of the 5th Regiment of L.C., giving cover to a memorail addressed to the Honble the court of Directors praying for a remission of the retrenchments made against him on account of Seinde field bata drawn for certain Troops of the above Corps in 1849/50.
