In reply to no. 19 of the 3rd inst. statees that he iw not aware of any regulation sanctining th grant of passge money form Madras to Engalnd to Coll. Pratt on half pay and felix unattaced teh former Deputy Adj. Genl. and the latter deptyu Qtr. master genl. H.M. force at madras on the occassion of their being relieved form their appt. and returning to europe.
