With reference to mily. dep.t ltr. no. 1017 of the 28th Feb. last, solicits authoitiy to pass the pay of sweepers in teh Shekawathe Battn. to the extend of 1 per coy. in teh spirit of the decision which palced taht Battn. on the same foorign with resepct to pay and as the men of teh reg.t of Loddiana.
