With reference to para 2nd of Military Department letter No 296, date 11th ultimo submits for information copy of a letter from the Ex commist offr at Ferozepore from which it will be seen that altho the malt liquor which former the subject of that station orders refered to in his commissary General letter No 246 date 26th January 1856.
