I.A.S. Cadre-Orissa-Scale check-Review of-Reference from A.G. Orissa. Decision in the case of I.A.S. officers who prior to their appointment to the service were permanent under the Central/State Government it is not necessary to provide them with a lien on the post in the IAS Cadre till they are confirmed in that service of the shortage in I.A.S. Cadre strength occurs during the probation of such officers the shortage could be met by temporary addition to the cadre in other cases the position can be regularised by creating supernumerary posts
