With reference to this office letter No. 2515, dated the 25th ultimo, communicates sanction of the Governor General in Council to the Lieutenant-Governor`s proceedings in having three young Bhutea Lamas, natives of Sikkim, educated in the Darjeeling school, at the subsistence allowance of Rs. 6 a Month, which had been sanctioned by the Government of India, for the Maintenance of youths, natives of Bhutan, whom it was proposed to educate in that institution.
