With effect from December 3, 1925, the Honourable Mr. H.N. Bolton, C.S.I., C.I.E., Chief Commissioner and Agent to the Governor in the North West Frontier Province, has been granted leave. With effect from December 3, 1925, Lieutenant Colonel W.J. Keen, C.I.E., C.B.E., a Resident of the Second Class, was appointed to serve as a Resident of the First Class and Chief Commissioner and Agent to the Governor General in the North West Frontier Province. The appointment of Mr. T.B. Copeland to the positions of Revenue Commissioner for the North West Frontier Province and Resident of the Second Class. With effect from August 9, 1926, the Honourable Sir H.N. Bolton, K.C.I.E., C.S.I. resumed his duties as C.C. and A.G.G. in the N.W.F.P.
