With effect from October 30, 1926, Mr. A.A. Hopcroft, M.B.E. Vice Consul, has been granted leave. Vice Consul Meshed, Mr. Hopcroft, M.B.E., resumed his position upon his return from leave on September 20th, 1927. With effect from October 30, 1926, Mr. J. Mathews, of the Imperial Secretariat Service, was appointed an assistant in the government of India's foreign and political department to serve as vice consul at Meshed. Mr. J.
