The Political Department has decided that any officer holding the position of H.B.M.'s Consul-General in Kashgarh who has less than nine years of civil service should receive the standard charge allowance allowed to such officers in Political Department posts classified as Superior, up to a maximum of Rs. 1,150 per month. Case of Major G.B.V. Gillan of the Political Department who was also serving as the Kashgarh Consul-General for H.B.M.
