Regarding grant of extensions of service/re-employment beyond the age of superannuation of non-ministerial Class III and Class IV servants in Part C States Ref. from Min. of Education. Question- Whether the powers delegated vide O.M. No. 1/55-C.S (C) dated 14.2.55 to the Ministries/Heads of Departments of the Govt. of India can be enjoyed by the Chief Commissioners/Lt. Governors of Part C States. Decision- They cannot enjoy these powers and references to Govt. of India in all such cases are necessary for prior approval
