Question of exemption from the payment of building tax to Delhi Municipal Corporation on buildings constructed by the Central Government and the Ministry of Railways- Ministry of Railways advised that we have recommended to the Ministry of Health who are amending the Delhi Development Act, 1957 that lands in the operational use of Railways, i.e., Railway Lines, tracks, shunting yards, operational buildings thereto, may be excluded from the provisions of the Act- The question of amending section 313 and 333 of the D.M.C. Act will have to be taken up in the light of the proposed amendments to the Delhi Development Act
