16th March 1812, Banaras, W.A. Brooks, agent to the G.G., to the N.B. Edmonstone, Chief Secretary to Govt. at Fort William.Encloses copy of a letter from Raja of Rewa respecting the Pindaries. Conveys intelligence that a body of 200 horsemen passed through Rewa either towards Mirzapur or might turn towards Allahabad. Also suggests that adopt some measure to guard against the possible depredation. PP.7
