Amendment of Article 199, Civil Service Regulations, so as to make it clear that an officer who has been compulsorily recalled from leave and who on applying for the balance of his leave together with the leave subsequently earned is in the interests of the public service, granted only a portion of the balances or only the leave earned since recall may by granted on the next occasion upon which he can be spared the remainder of the leave then admissible to gather with any leave for which he has subsequently become eligible privilege leave taken by itself for a period not exceeding six weeks being disregarded in applying this ruling.
