In order to fill the void left by Mr. Justice Ghulam Hasan's passing, Mr. Justice B.P. Sinha, Chief Justice of the Nagpur High Court, was appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India. 2. The Nagpur High Court has appointed Mr. Justice Mohammad Hidayatullah as its new Chief Justice, succeeding Mr. Justice B.P. Sinha.
