Major R.H. Chenevix Trench of the Political Department may return to active duty. The issue of hiring junior Indian Civil Service employees on a temporary basis for the Political Department and in Mesopotamia by borrowing their services from the provinces. Grant of privilege leave to Captain H.V. Biscoe of the Political Department, who serves as the Foreign and Political Department's Under-Secretary to the Government of India, and related arrangements. The Political Department has appointed Mr. H.D.G. Law as its Assistant Secretary in the Foreign and Political Department. T.B. Russell, I.C.S. (Madras) was appointed to serve in the Political Department of the Government of India temporarily. He was also sent as the Second Assistant to the Agent to the Governor General in Rajputana and the Chief Commissioner, Ajmer-Merwara
