Item 9 on the India agenda for the Indo-Pakistan Railway Standing Committee 1953 dealt with the E.B. (Pakistan) Railway's failure to account for Inter-Dominion traffic and the failure of the Indian Railway to get its claim on this account against that Railway resolved. At the meeting of the Indo-Pakistan Railway Standing Committee held in New Delhi in December, it was decided that (i) claims of either side which have been submitted within the prescribed time and limit should be accepted provided they are shown to be correct, and (ii) claims which have not been submitted within the prescribed time and limit should not be accepted because they have not been submitted within the prescribed time and limit.
