Indian Arms Act and Rules: The Government of Madras has proposed amending the Act to include provisions for the cancellation or suspension of an arms licence by the licencing authority for (1) A licensee's violation of any of the conditions and (2) A licensee's inability to handle the weapon safely or keep it in safe custody. The proposal has not been accepted
