Multipurpose School at Bandikui. Reference from the Western Railway regarding the setting up of a multipurpose School at Bandikui. Sanction communicated to the conversion of the School into a Multipurpose School from 1958-59 and the introduction of Humanities, Science and Commercial courses in the first instance and of Technical course subsequently. Railway Administration authorised to create additional posts and adopt scales of pay recommended by them provisionally pending examination and finalisation of the scales of pay for teachers in Multipurpose Schools on all Railways. Approval communicated to utilise the D.M.E's bungalow at Sandkui, rendered surplur due to divisionalisation, for the Multipurpose School in addition to the existing building
