In reply to No. 24-104, dated 2nd March last intimates, for communication to Major J. Stevenson, of the Madras Staff Corps and Deputy Commissioner, 3rd Class, British Burmah, that the Governor General in Council does not think it necessary to forward the memorial of that officers observations on Major Stevenson's grievances as an officer of the Staff Corps as well as his position as a Civil Officer
